WHAT TRAINING IS NEEDED AND WHEN?
- All Nursing Assistants-Registered (NAR), Nursing Assistants Certified (CNA), and Certified Home Care Aides (HCAs)
- Must: Successfully complete the ND Core Training (9 hours) before performing a delegated task.
- Successfully complete both ND Core (9 hours) and Diabetes Training (3 hours) before performing insulin injections as a delegated task.
- State requirement: WAC 246-840-930 does not specify the order of completion.
